This is like June Carter and Johnny Cash singing a love ballad in a fruit orchard in late summer – all Georgia peach pie, fresh cream, lemon and spices. Their voices, mellowed with time in the barrel, are deep and rich and edged with a good acerbic wit. A fresh breeze brings the scent of wildflowers from the meadow and everything comes together in perfect harmony.

What The Sommelier Says

Deep yellow colour. On the nose, citrus, stone fruit and spices with flora hints. On the palate, it shows well-integrated barrel aging with a dry, unctious and buttery mouth feel and marked acidity, holding those notes of citrus, stone fruit and spices. Lovely finish.

…grilled bacalhau with a side of new potatoes drizzled in green olive oil, a medium-spiced curry or truffle risotto.

About The Winemakers

Henrique Cizeron is a veterinarian who early on traded the animal world for the plant world. Since 2007, he has participated in harvests across various wine regions, working with different producers and winemakers as a “flying winemaker.” His project includes the Cinética brand (Douro) and Toroa (New Zealand), bringing together limited-production wines crafted over the years.
