Fernando Rivera Bettin
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Fernando joined the family business at 19, first in Brazil then in the US. When the pandemic hit, he and his wife, Tatiana, decided it was time to chase their dreams. So they packed their bags and moved their family to Cascais, Portugal.
It was here that Fernando discovered a new love: Portuguese wine! Teaming up with Marlowe to create The Wine Fellas ticks a lot of boxes…most of all the chance to explore the world of Portuguese wine and share it with his friends and family.
Marlowe Diego Fawcett
A writer and a wanderer, Marlowe started life in San Francisco, meandered through London, Washington DC, Paris, Manchester, Park City, Utah and Boulder, Colorado.
In 2017, his wandering spirit led him to Colares, Portugal where an encounter with a 2008 bottle of Ramisco changed his brain chemistry forever. The Wine Fellas was born in that glass of wine, and he is now on a mission to spread the good word of Portuguese wine far and wide.
How We Choose Our Wines
The Wine Fellas partners with Wine Concept, a wholesale distributor in the Lisbon area, to source amazing wines from all around Portugal.
