Deliciously layered and smooth and just a wee bit devilish – like falling slowly down a set of feather-padded stairs into an old wine cellar. There’s a smokey hint of old tobacco wreathed around a bowl of ripe red and black cherries. A quiet, elegant red with the rhythm of coast, stone and plenty of time on its hands.

What The Sommelier Says

Medium ruby red colour. Delicate aromas of cherry, sour cherry and cedar, layered over a faint smoky note. Dry, lively and finely etched palate, with polished tannins and a gentle toast note from élevage. Saline freshness runs through the middle, keeping the wine long, balanced and precise on the finish.

Pairs well with…

…grilled poultry, mushroom dishes and pasta with lighter savoury sauces. Its freshness and fine tannins also suit soft cheeses and richer fish such as salmon.

About The Winemakers

Infinitude is a boutique Portuguese wine project linked to the Osório & Gonçalves family, rooted at Quinta da Azenha in Galamares on the northern foothills of the Serra de Sintra. The family planted Pinot Noir and Merlot there in 2000, first making wine for their own table before launching Infinitude commercially in 2017. Their vineyards lie about 5 km from the Atlantic on clay-limestone soils, with the cool, humid Sintra microclimate shaping wines of freshness and elegance.
