What The Fellas Say

If you were a bowl of PhĆ“ and you were on Bumble looking for your perfect match, or maybe just someone interesting and fun to party with or dive deep into a hotel for a mad weekend of philosophical discussion, then you would definitely swipe right when this little beauty showed up. Elegant but not prissy. Complex but not complicated. Layered but not heavy. It’s a field blend of who knows what white grapes from old Douro vines. Loves ice baths, 90s era German techno and foot rubs.

What The Sommelier Says

A light citrus/straw colour; soft notes of lychee, citrus peel, rose and tropical fruits. On the palette, this wine made from historic vineyards with minimal intervention, is elegant, fresh and very gastronomic. A marked acidity with a long finish.

Pairs well with…

…the full suite of summer/autumn dishes from a grilled sea bream to roast chicken, but we bet this would make excellent friends with some tacos al pastor.

Region: Douro

Region: Douro

The wines of the Douro Valley are known for their depth, complexity, and aging potential. The soil is predominantly schist, a type of metamorphic rock that retains heat and helps to ripen the grapes. The region’s unique terroir, combined with the use of indigenous grape varieties and traditional winemaking techniques, create wines that are rich, complex, and full of character.
