About The Winemakers
Antítese wines are a personal project by two winemaker friends who set out to blend two grape varieties that are seemingly difficult to harmonize—hence the name “Antithesis.” The duo consists of Ricardo Santos, known for his work at Malo Tojo (Setúbal) and Mestre Daniel (talha wine in Alentejo), and Gilberto Marques from Quinta de Pancas. Currently, two 2016 vintages are available, both structured, barrel-aged, bottle-matured for a year, and vinified collaboratively.

Excellent bold wine, with strong fruit flavors together with oak and noticeable tannins. A real winner.
