What The Fellas Say

Like a dashing, swashbuckling hero of an old swords and corsets romance – smooth, smoky, dusky…and full of spice. It’s Errol Flynn swinging over the banquet hall on a chandelier; D’Artagnan fighting off Richelieu’s hired men to rescue the Contessa di Montalpuciano. Like those charming gallants, it arrives full force but with a smile and wink and twirl of moustache.

What The Sommelier Says

Deep ruby in color, on the nose an excellent freshness and aromatic projection, where red fruits stand out, very well integrated with subtle spice notes. It begins on the palate in a very harmonious way, evolving into a wine of excellent volume and structure composed of velvety textured tannins. A very captivating wine, finishing with excellent balance and persistence.

Pairs well with…

…some classic Alentejo cuisine like migas and slow-cooked black pork cheeks; or anything off the bbq
