The Alentejo in late summer. The unrelenting heat shimmers over the plains. Nothing is in a hurry. Not even the flies. You find a table in the shade of a cork tree. A cold bottle of Lobo de Vasconcelos Branco miraculously appears and the afternoon makes a promise it fully intends to keep. Lime and orange blossom, a mineral coolness that feels like a breeze that wasn’t there a moment ago. Two glasses in, the hammock is calling. You don’t resist. You were never going to.

Very attractive citrine color in the aroma, highlighting notes of lime, orange blossom, and vibrant minerality. A captivating wine on the palate, with lively acidity and balanced structure. With a seductive and fresh finish.

About The Winemakers

LVW – Lobo de Vasconcellos Wines, Lda, a family project of Manuel Lobo, manages two family estates – Herdade da Perescuma, in Vendinha, and Herdade do Zambujal do Conde, in Évora, with more than 1000 ha, of which 46 ha are occupied by vineyards. It focuses on differentiation through the maximum potential of the terroir vs. grape varieties, based on studies of soils, vineyard orientation, temperatures, and winemaking.
