What The Fellas Say

It’s like Springtime dancing across the earth in her shimmering dress made of spider webs and rainbows and flower petals. Bright and vivacious, she banishes the winter winds, and fills the air with honeysuckle and bees and the promise of lavander.

What The Sommelier Says

Light pink color, with a delicate floral aroma and hints of raspberry. On the palate, notes of red fruit, with crisp acidity and saline freshness enhanced by the Alvarinho grape variety.

Pairs well with…

…grilled prawns with garlic and olive oil, a light tuna tartare, fresh goat’s cheese or a summer charcuterie board with melon and presunto.

About The Winemakers

This is a personal project by winemaker João Cabral de Almeida, producing wines in the Douro, Dão, and Vinho Verde regions. Under the motto “Wines with a sense of place,” the project focuses on creating wines that faithfully express their place of origin and the grape varieties used. João’s approach to winemaking is straightforward: “We spend the entire year focused on producing the best grapes. Then, in the winery, we aim to intervene as little as possible to let Nature express itself to the fullest.”

Region: Vinho Verde

Vinho Verde is known for its light, refreshing wines, known for their low alcohol content and slight effervescence. The soil is predominantly granite, which helps to retain moisture and gives the wines a unique minerality.
