What The Fellas Say

Your mind wanders the misty, sun-dappled heights of the Dão, where old stone walls tumble through wildflower meadows and peach orchards. Where gnarled vines cling to rocky soils and a fresh burst of rain livens up the ancient boulders. Where your feet slow down and everything seems somehow…paused.

What The Sommelier Says

Fragrant aroma with lively notes of citrus fruits, delicate notes of white flowers and a touch of smoke. In the mouth it is fresh, elegant, with a mineral texture and a persistent finish.

Pairs well with…

…a fragrant citrus and herb-roasted chicken, delicate seafood risotto with spring vegetables, creamy burrata drizzled with olive oil and fresh herbs, or smoky grilled prawns finished with a squeeze of lemon.

About The Winemakers

This is a personal project by winemaker João Cabral de Almeida, producing wines in the Douro, Dão, and Vinho Verde regions. Under the motto “Wines with a sense of place,” the project focuses on creating wines that faithfully express their place of origin and the grape varieties used. João’s approach to winemaking is straightforward: “We spend the entire year focused on producing the best grapes. Then, in the winery, we aim to intervene as little as possible to let Nature express itself to the fullest.”
