What The Fellas Say

This isn’t your average pink drink—it’s a rosé with backbone and a bit of swagger. It’s a jazz solo: bold, improvisational, and letting the Baga grape riff without a conductor. No makeup, no fancy costumes—just pure fruit, a hint of wildness from native yeasts and a stainless steel stage that keeps everything crisp and honest.

What The Sommelier Says

Pink in colour, with aromas of raspberries and green apple and a slightly smoky character that sets it apart from more conventional expressions of the variety. Dry, fresh and mineral, with the structured backbone that only Baga can deliver. Best served between 8°C and 11°C.

Pairs well with…

…a natural partner to fish dishes in cataplana, stews, game meat, or simply as an aperitif.

About The Winemakers

The Pato family has been producing wine at Quinta do Ribeirinho since at least the 18th century. João Pato began bottling wine from his vineyards in 1970, becoming the first producer/bottler in the Bairrada region after its demarcation. His son Luis Pato inherited his nonconformist and pioneering spirit, and in 1980 produced his first wine, a single-varietal Baga of exceptional quality and absolute rarity, which is today sought after by connoisseurs as a treasure.

Region: Bairrada

Bairrada produces wines with high acidity and tannins, often aged in oak barrels to soften the tannins and develop complex flavors. The region’s soil is predominantly clay and limestone, which helps to retain moisture and gives the wines a distinct minerality.
