What The Fellas Say

This is a classic Vinho Verde blend of the mellow, citrusy Loureiro grape and the flowery, vivacious Alvarinho. It’s Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace dancing to “Teenage Wedding” in the diner scene in Pulp Fiction – one side all cool, measured, smoothness, the other sassy and silky and full of wild ideas. A scene that is crisp and flawless and drinkable…over and over again.

What The Sommelier Says

Aromas of orange blossom and bay leaf with citrus hints. On the palate, the fruit is very present along with a balanced acidity, finishing fresh and long.

Pairs well with…

…grilled sole with lemon and capers, a light chicken and citrus salad, fresh ricotta crostini or a seafood platter with clams and mussels.

About The Winemakers

This is a personal project by winemaker João Cabral de Almeida, producing wines in the Douro, Dão, and Vinho Verde regions. Under the motto “Wines with a sense of place,” the project focuses on creating wines that faithfully express their place of origin and the grape varieties used. João’s approach to winemaking is straightforward: “We spend the entire year focused on producing the best grapes. Then, in the winery, we aim to intervene as little as possible to let Nature express itself to the fullest.”
